Palahala Luxury Tented Camp - Katavi National Park.

Palahala Luxury Camp is a seasonal camp that is located in the beautiful surroundings of Paradise Hill in Katavi National Park. The Camp opened in June 2006. Game walks, game drives with open vehicles in the bush, walking with experienced guides and gourmet meals, fine china, butler service, down duvets and romantic evenings around the fire are part of the experience. At Palahala you can expect everything you need for a fabulous safari!

Palahala Location
Palahala Luxury Camp is located in Katavi National Park, on the Kipapa River, in West-Tanzania in the Rukwa Region, and is 7° degrees south of the Equator.

Palahala Accessibility.
The camp is accessible by air. They have the use of two airstrips; one is only a 10 minute drive from camp and used in the dry season. The second airstrip is about an hour away. Twice weekly scheduled charters depart Arusha on Mondays and Thursdays and arrive in time for lunch. Katavi is a 3 hour flight from Arusha and only a 25 minute flight away from Lupita Island.
