3Days Selous Budget Safari. / Selous Camping Safari.

Dar es salaam or Zanzibar
Day 1.Zanzibar (or Dar)- Selous Game Reserve
In the morning flight from Zanzibar to the Selous
Mtemere airstrip, Also this can be organized from Dar es
salaam by car. If you arrive Selous with flight then we
will pick you up from Mtemere airstrip to any of the
selected Tented Camp or Camp site. Afternoon sharing
boat Safari on the majestic Rufiji River. One can see
plenty of hippos, crocodiles and bird life is prolific.
Dinner and overnight at any other the selected Tented
Camp or Camp site. All meals included.
Day 2. Selous - Selous Game Reserve.
Two half-days of game activities including drives in our
car and
walking Safaris
with an armed ranger Overnight at any of the selected
Tented Camp or Camp site. All meals included.
Day 3. Selous - Zanzibar (or Dar)
In the morning boat Safari, after lunch transfer to the
airstrip, for your flight to Zanzibar or Dar.
It is possible to add extra days or game activities
 FISHING TRIP:
Fishing on the Rufiji River can also be arranged. There
are plenty of interesting fish to catch, such as the Big
Catfish or Vundu, maybe you can beat the Selous Game
Reserve record of 49 KG. Or Tiger fish, or just the small
Squeakers.
VILLAGE TRIP:
(Offered from the Main Camp on the Rufiji River visiting
Mloka Village, or from the Kisaki Annex visiting Kisaki
Village). Visit a local village on the outskirts of the
Selous Game Reserve, and walk around on the farms,
seeing the different crops planted by the villagers in
this area, and maybe even the difficulties of running a
small farm near a Game Reserve. On the village trip we
also visit the local school and may be invited into
local homes as well as join into village dances if they
are being held as well as the odd football match might
be visited.
