The
Sunset Mountain lodge, one of the best Lod ges in
Ruaha
and nestled in Idelemle mountains only 16 km. away from
the park boarder boasts of its tranquility and
hospitality. It is amazing to think that in just 2 hours
flight or 6 hours of traveling you can escape the hectic
urban melee of Dar-es-salaam and be in the heart of one
the world’s great wildernesses. The clamour of car
engines is replaced by the grunting of hippos, the
chatter of playful vervet monkeys, and the shrill
keening of eagles.
Welcome to Sunset Mountain Lodge, your home away from
home, from sunrise to sunset…….and a magnificent view of
Ruaha National Park,
(soon to be the largest National Park in Africa), Sunset
Mountain Lodge offers all required in your holiday
package, you will not believe the diversity of wildlife,
unique vegetation, scenery and wilderness. It is a
combination of differences you can get from several
destinations if you were to go elsewhere.
Ruaha National Park : Wildlife
Ruaha
National Park
is known for its large elephant and buffalo herds
and one of its principal attractions lies in being able
to see greater and lesser kudu as well as the majestic
sable and roan antelope within the same area. As well as
an abundance of lion, leopard and cheetah it is also
home to the increasingly rare
African Hunting Dog. Ruaha
National Park is a great year round park due to its good all
weather road network. The South West area of Tanzania
where
Ruaha
National Park
is located has the lowest rainfall in
Tanzania. June to November is driest with the focus of
wildlife viewing around the river courses and permanent
waterholes.
Near
Ruaha
National Park. The Ruaha area
is surrounded with a tourist potential areas. If you
travel to Ruaha there are so many other things
interesting to visit either before or just after
visiting Ruaha. On the other words, a traveler
will not come to a country for Wildlife only, they will
be interested in seeing life of the people around the
area, land scape, historical sites, agricultural and
animal husbandry among the others. Here are few things
that Bush Routes would like to suggest to the people who
are interested in visiting
Ruaha
National Park.
