ARUSHA COFFEE LODGE
Arusha Coffee Lodge is situated just off the main road,
a few minutes from Arusha airport. The 20
beautifully-restored plantation houses are dotted around
a still functioning coffee plantation -the largest in
Tanzania - and the plantation coffee is served at the
lodge. The rooms are very tastefully furnished, with
split-level living areas, king-size beds, wood burning
stoves, wooden floors, crystal glass decanters and tiled
en-suite bathrooms and private verandas.
The coffee theme is
apparent in the style of the rooms, with dark wood
fittings and lots of natural fibers in the furnishings.
There is a mini bar, and of
course, coffee making facilities in all rooms, and room
service is available.
Arusha Coffee Lodge has a
good size pool with a large wooden deck. The restaurant
serves good lunches, and there is a large pleasant bar
near the entrance next to a large pond with a bridge
over it. There is also a coffee shop, boutiques, art and
craft shops and a patisserie.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The Ngorongoro
Conservation area borders the Serengeti in northern Tanzania and
includes the world's largest crater which acts as a natural
enclosure for almost every species of wildlife found in East Africa.
This includes the very rare black rhino. The Ngorongoro Crater is
where you'll witness some of the densest population of wildlife in
the world and it's a truly amazing place for photographers. The
Maasai still live within the conservation area, and it's also home
to Olduvai where some of man's earliest remains have been found |
