Kilimanjaro Cultural Tourism.

Outside the Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, lies the towns of Machame and Marangu/Mamba in these place there are number of optional activities run by the local villages.

Our support to this program is to advertise and bring tourists to visit the fascinating rural areas in Tanzania where to experience real African life and enjoy the scenery of green Mountains, landscape, wide plains and valleys.

Machame Cultural Tourism
Machame, to the north of the Arusha - Moshi road, is a mosaic of beautful valleys, deep gorges, rivers, waterfalls and farms, and is home to the Chagga people. Explore the life of the people of Mt. Kilimanjaro. More .............

Mamba / Marangu Cultural Tourism
Mamba and Marangu in the Kilimanjaro area have both natural and cultural heritage to offer the visitor. There are more than seven waterfalls in the vicinity, unique flora with tree, flower and fruit nurseries and fauna. Tour the slopes of Mt.Kilimanjaro and ascend to beautiful viewpoints.

Tours through Marangu afford panoramic views of Mt.Kilimanjaro. Visit the home and memorial of the late Yohana Lauwo, a Marangu native who accompanied Dr.Hans Meyer on the first recorded climb of Kilimanjaro in 1889, and read the original log books of Lauwo. More ........

All our guides have been living in the Kilimanjaro area for many years and are conversant in English. Many of them are experienced guides for Kilimanjaro treks and can recount tales of their climbing adventures.
