The attractions of the West Coast are its stunning beaches and wealth of fish and other marine life, particularly at the coastal towns of Pongwe where the best thing to do is jump in a hammock and revel in the stunning views of the crystal clear water and gorgeous sandy beaches.

Activities on the West Coast Zanzibar are very much beach and water orientated. You can spend time lazing in a hammock with fabulous views of the bright blue waters or perhaps go swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling. Also from the coastal town of Pongwe you can take spice tours or go fishing.
