Saruni Samburu Safari Lodge
is a design lodge located on Kalama Conservancy and 7km in the tribal lands to the
North of the Samburu National Reserve, overlooking a large, private
game sanctuary.
The lodge offers exceptional views of a vast, open
landscape, a high level of comfort and exclusivity, and
an African experience like no other.
The large swimming pool overlooks a spectacular
waterhole, visited regularly by elephant, leopard and
giraffe. Also, visit the Samburu Wellness Spa for
relaxing massages and beauty treatments.
Enjoy day and night game drives with professional
guides, and cultural visits to the local communities. We
also recommend drawing safaris, led by a professional
artist.
Accommodation.
At Saruni Samburu you can choose between a one or
2-bedroom cottage, and 2 family cottages, both with 2
bedrooms.

A large swimming pool with dramatic view over
Samburuland, a waterhole that attract elephant,
reticulated giraffe, zebra, oryx and all the species
that make Kalama so special.
Activities
Game viewing, comfortable, fully-open Land Rovers
are used, specially designed to give you maximum
visibility over the landscape and the animals.
Walking safaris guests walk on the plains and in
the mountains and hills that surround Saruni. To walk
with the Masai warriors in the African bush is a
fantastic experience and you will learn how they use the
berries and the leaves, about their traditions and about
their life.
