Located on the slopes of
Mount Kenya, the Mount Kenya Safari Club offers a unique
blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. Set among
manicured lawns, decorative ponds and flowerbeds, you
can enjoy the surroundings in style against the backdrop
of Mount Kenya.
With some of the country's
finest attractions on your doorstep, you can experience
an enormous range of excursions and activities,
including game drives, hikes up Mount Kenya, cultural
village excursions and visits to the nearby animal
orphanage.
A variety of game can be
spotted from the hotel's viewing platform, and to fully
appreciate the African experience you can request bush
dinners which are arranged on the banks of the river
Likii.
Accommodation
Mount Kenya Safari Club has a total of 115 standard and
superior rooms set in 100 acres of landscaped gardens.
Rooms and suites are housed in the Garden Suites,
William Holden Cottages, Riverside Cottages, and the 3
houses, Lenana, Batian & River House.
All rooms have an open log fireplace and an en suite
bathroom with shower. Most rooms also have a private
veranda that overlooks the river and Mount Kenya.

There are two restaurants, the Mawingo and the Kirinyaga.
There are two bars, the Zebra Bar and the Trophy Lounge
that has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and is the
ideal setting for cocktail parties. The Club has a
